šŸ„ Waiting for Healing—and Finding Grace Along the Way

—

God can heal in an instant.

We see it all throughout Scripture. Blind eyes opened. Lame legs strengthened. Chains falling off without warning. He is still that same God. He still has that same power.

And sometimes… He heals over time.

I am being healed over time.

Even though I was diagnosed with an incurable disease, I still have hope in the Lord. Hope is not denial. Hope is not pretending the diagnosis doesn’t exist. Hope is choosing to believe that God has the final word, even when the process is slower than I imagined.

As I walk with Him on this journey, I’m discovering more and more who He is. He is not just a healer. He is the Great I Am. Present. Constant. Sustaining.

I think about Paul and the thorn in his side. He prayed for it to be removed. He asked God to take it away. And in 2 Corinthians 12:9, the Lord responded, ā€œMy grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.ā€

The thorn wasn’t removed.

But grace was supplied.

And Paul continued doing what he was called to do.

That part encourages me deeply.

Because while I wait for healing, life hasn’t stopped. The calling hasn’t stopped. The purpose hasn’t stopped. I still get to do what He has called me to do. I still get to write. I still get to speak. I still get to live with joy and intention.

His grace is sufficient.

Not just once. Not just occasionally. Daily.

He renews His grace for me every single morning. Strength for today. Breath for today. Purpose for today.

Healing may be unfolding over time—but so is my understanding of who He is.

And that, too, is a gift.

A Thought for You šŸ’¬

Waiting does not mean God is absent.

Sometimes the miracle isn’t instant change—it’s sustained strength.

You may be asking God to remove something. And He may respond by reminding you that His grace will carry you through it.

Both are evidence of His love.

A Closing Thought šŸ™‡šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

Healing can come in a moment.
Healing can unfold over years.

But grace is always available.

While you wait, keep living.
Keep trusting.
Keep answering the call.

His grace is sufficient—and He will renew it again tomorrow.

A Prayer For You šŸ™šŸ½

Heavenly Father,
You are the Great I Am—the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Thank You for being present in both instant miracles and long journeys.
When healing takes time, help us trust Your heart. Remind us that Your grace is truly sufficient and that Your power is made perfect in our weakness. Renew our strength daily as we continue walking in what You have called us to do. We give you all the glory, honor, and praise. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus name I pray, amen.
