Before the calendars fill up, the lights get tangled, and the days rush past, I want to pause and speak encouragement over your week, and over your heart.
This season reminds us of something sacred: God came close.
Jesus entered the world quietly, humbly, wrapped not in perfection, but in promise. And that same Jesus walks with us now, in the middle of our busy weeks, our unanswered prayers, and our longing for hope.
New Mercies, New Joy đ
Thereâs something especially beautiful about starting a week during Christmas. It reminds us that no matter how heavy life feels, hope has already arrived.
You donât have to have everything figured out this week.
You donât have to be strong all the time.
You donât even have to feel joyful every moment.
Because joy isnât found in circumstancesâitâs found in Christ.
As we celebrate His birth, weâre reminded that Godâs greatest gift didnât come wrapped in ease or comfort, but in love, humility, and salvation.
Honoring Jesus in the Middle of the Week âď¸
This Christmas, Iâm choosing to slow down, not because life is quiet, but because Jesus is worthy of my attention.
Iâm choosing gratitude over pressure.
Presence over perfection.
Worship over worry.
And I pray that as you walk through this week, you feel the gentle reminder that Jesus is with you, right where you are, whether your days feel full or fragile.

A Thought for You đ
This week, let joy look different than you expect.
Let it look like quiet worship in the car.
Let it look like laughter in the middle of chaos.
Let it look like trusting Jesus even when things arenât wrapped up neatly.
Because Christmas reminds us that God does His best work in humble beginnings.
Closing Thoughts đđ˝ââď¸
This week, may your heart be lightâeven if life feels heavy.
May you feel the nearness of Jesus in the small moments.
And may you remember that Christmas is not about perfectionâitâs about presence.
I hope youâll join me for the Virtual Launch Party on Zoom as we celebrate togetherânot just a book, but the faithfulness of God.
Hereâs to a joyful week, a Christ-centered Christmas, and a heart full of hope. đđ
A Prayer for the Week and the Season Ahead đđ˝
Jesus,
Thank You for coming to us, Emmanuel, God with us.
As we walk through this week and this Christmas season, help us keep our hearts centered on You.
Bring peace where there is stress, hope where there is heaviness, and joy that goes deeper than circumstance.
Help us celebrate Your presence, not just Your birth.
May everything we do honor You.
In your precious name we pray, amen.

Tell me what you think, even if itâs just: “I had coffee too.” â
