šŸš€ The Next Chapter – Stepping into Publishing: The Race of Your Life

—

If you’ve ever taken a leap of faith, you know that thrilling mix of excitement and nerves that comes with it. That’s exactly where I am right now. šŸ•Šļø

After weeks (okay, months!) of writing, editing, praying, and rewriting again, The Race of Your Life: A Spiritual and Mental Battle Against an Incurable Disease is officially heading into the self-publishing stage—and I couldn’t be more excited (and yes, a little nervous too!).

This next chapter feels surreal. I’m waiting for the proof copies to arrive—those precious first prints that make everything feel real. I want every word, every detail, every reflection in this memoir to reflect the care, prayer, and purpose poured into it. Because this isn’t just my story—it’s God’s story through me.

šŸ“˜ A Dream Becoming Reality

When I started writing The Race of Your Life, I didn’t imagine how much this book would stretch me, challenge me, and ultimately transform me. What began as my personal story of living with chronic illness has grown into something far greater—a message of hope, perseverance, and unwavering faith.

And now… it’s almost here.

I’m trusting God through every final edit, every layout review, and every late-night proofread. Because publishing this book isn’t just about getting it on shelves—it’s about getting it into hearts.

šŸ’› The Beauty of Self-Publishing

Self-publishing is both exhilarating and humbling. It means I get to be fully involved in the process—design, formatting, printing, marketing, all of it. It’s a creative adventure that lets me bring this project to life exactly as it was meant to be: authentic, faith-driven, and full of heart.

There’s so much joy in knowing that I’m not just finishing a book—I’m building a ministry tool that will reach others walking through their own battles. Every decision—font, cover design, even chapter formatting—feels like a small act of worship.

It’s exciting and terrifying, but that’s the beauty of obedience, right? You take the step, even when you can’t see the whole path, trusting that God will guide your feet.

šŸ•Šļø Mark Your Calendars – December 1, 2025!

That’s the big day! šŸ™ŒšŸ½

On December 1, 2025The Race of Your Life will officially be published and available to the world. My heart is already overflowing just thinking about it!

And there’s more—this memoir will be accompanied by a Workbook/Journal designed to help readers go deeper. It’s filled with reflection prompts, faith quotes, and guided exercises to help you process your own race—spiritually, emotionally, and mentally.

Whether you’re navigating illness, uncertainty, or just a tough season of life, this companion tool will help you draw strength from Scripture, reflect on your journey, and find peace in God’s promises.

šŸŒ¤ļø Nervous? Yes. Grateful? Absolutely.

I won’t lie—hitting ā€œpublishā€ feels a bit like jumping out of a plane (without the parachute packed by me, thankfully!). šŸ˜… There’s vulnerability in putting your story out into the world. But there’s also immense joy in knowing that obedience to God always leads to impact.

Every bit of anxiety is balanced by excitement, every ounce of fear is covered by faith. And I keep reminding myself: If God brought me to it, He’ll see me through it.

Philippians 1:6 says,

ā€œHe who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.ā€

That’s my promise verse for this season. Because this book truly has been a ā€œgood workā€ that God started long before I realized what He was doing.

šŸ’¬ A Thought for You

Maybe you’re in your own ā€œwaiting for the proof copyā€ season—waiting for something to come together, something you’ve worked hard and prayed long for. If so, let me encourage you: don’t give up now. The waiting is not wasted. God is refining, shaping, and preparing the next part of your story.

You don’t have to see the full picture to celebrate what’s ahead—just keep running your race, one faithful step at a time.

šŸ™‡šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø Closing Thought

This isn’t just the end of a writing journey—it’s the beginning of a new one.

I can’t wait to hold the finished book in my hands and share it with you all. Every page, every word, every prayer written between the lines is a testament to God’s goodness and grace.

So stay tuned, friends. The finish line is in sight… and this is just the beginning of something beautiful. ✨

With grace,
Stacy

šŸ™šŸ½Ā A Prayer for the Journey

Dear Lord,
Thank You for the dreams You plant in our hearts and the courage You give us to see them through. As I step into this next chapter of publishingĀ The Race of Your Life, I trust You to guide every decision and detail. For anyone reading this waiting on their breakthrough, remind them that You are faithful, even in the in-between.
